THE FRANCISCAN STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE MANY CHANGES have occurred on 'rhe College campus since fhe lime when l was firsf chosen siudenf body president A+ +ha+ fime 'rhe sl'uden+s enrolled in lhe College numbered considerably less ihan our presen+ membership. Wi+h ihe increase in s'ruden+ body, if is no wonder +ha+ +he demands of 'rhe Col- lege also increased, and we developed and progressed fo an amazing ex'ren+ during fhe pasf year. Now classes and club organizafions have come info be- ing-organizafions +ha+ are indispensa- ble fo 'Ihe life of +he College. Of 'Far greaier significance are +he changes wroughf in condifions affec+ing every s+uden+. New ideals and sland- CATHERINE O'SULLlVAN .gil ards have been framed and realized during fhe pasf year. The cons+i+u+ion has under- 1--ffj-i gone a comple+e revision, fhe colors are changed +o purple and gold: a budgef has .-.l.,iT' been devised, and a new sysfem of publicafions has been ins+i'ru+ed for fhe old.
