A12 JIMMY MILLER - Prnirlent - - ' FRANK WALKER 'HENRY ACOSTA - l icr-prerident A - MYRTLE MORDIGAN HELEN TAYLOR - Srcrftary - - - VIRGINIA DE LUX CLASS Morro: Facti.v eo: scietif' S well as being the largest class ever to have graduated from Iunior High in San Fernando, the class of S'36 has been the first to launch various new enter- prises replacing traditional ones during the senior high years. , The Iunior-Senior Prom given by this class in its Iunior year was very successful. In the fall of '35 the first Harvest Festival was presented in place of the annual May Day celebration previously presented each spring by the Senior B class. This festival was the first costume ball ever undertaken in San Fernando High School. The floral decorations for the Prom, Festival, and class parties were under the super- vision of Mr. Darland. The appearance of the gym on these occasions contributed much to the success of these events. During the summer vacation of '35 class members attended meetings held at beaches, near-by mountains, and lakes. Presentation of an outstanding class day in May of 1936 concluded the activities of the class. Graduation exercises were ggheld Iune 17. The class of S'36 wishes to express its appreciation and thanks to the class sponsors, Mrs. Ferguson, Mr. Lewis, Mr. Kinzie, and Mr. Record, for their guidance through- high school years. . - MARGARET COAD Ill l
