TOiett i ' Zfeat The sounds of shuffling feet and the pounding of bodies against the mats echoed throughout the gym for three and a half months during the winter. Most of the students weren ' t aware that behind the gym bleachers fellow students slaved at assorted physically demanding tasks from count downs to wind sprints. Senior Juan Mendoza said, I think it ' s the king of all sports. You have to be tough, mean, and, have the talent to be able to beat your opponent. It ' s not like basketball that takes a team: Wrestling is an individual sport. Juan (179) took first in league and Hugo Caro (165) second to go on to CIF.
