PRESIDENT MALCOLM A. LOVE . . .beginning of an era The bright future of San Diego State College was one of the key factors influencing Dr. Malcolm A. Love to become its president following the retirement last year of Dr. Walter R. Hepner. As firmly as we believe in the future greatness of SDSC, so are we convinced that our new president will continue to be instrumental in bringing to our college the educational facilities which will enable us to become future leaders. San Diego State College is proud of the illustrious alumnae whom she has launched as outstanding citizens. She will continue in the future to produce representative young Americans. We are proud to have at the head of our institution an educator of the high calibre of Doctor Love. As his first year in office comes to a close, we look back upon the beginning of an era and express our conviction that it will be a lengthy and successful one.
