I952 will go down in the history ot the Junior College as the year when the citizens ol San Diego first began to talce an organized and active interest in the local education ot local high schoo-I graduates. It is too early to tell yet just what they will accomplish, but we do know that they believe in the Junior College and would lilce to see ,a plan adopted which would insure its tuture. Those ot us who have pioneered, who have endured the hard- ships ot inadequate and widely scattered facilities, have good reason lor feeling confident that the San Diego Junior College will eventually be a community educational institution amongthe leaders ot its lcind in the West.
