I have found it! Eurelca! exclaimed each lucky forty-niner as he gazed at the precious nugget of gold in his calloused palm. I have found it! When in I85O California was ready for statehood, the motto chosen that best exemplified the spirit of the pioneers was none other than Eureka-ll have found itl, for wealth in its various forms was theirs' for the taking. t This issue of the LEGEND, the Golden Book, interes- tingly shows the opportunities that many students of San Diego Junior College have found for developing their talents and abilities and thus have added to the enrichment of their daily living.
