The Senate began showing itself highly effective by taking up the plan- ning and designing ofa Student Union Building, During its first meeting, Augie Bregante was named president pro- tem. Official president is the vice-president of the A,S.B. lt is hoped that all students will use this new voice as an Oppor- tunity to express their wishes, The Senate acts on any ideas in the same way as does the A.S.B. Council. This addition of a Senate to our student government gives us one of the finest school organizations in the area. 122. f-f .HQ Senate-First row, left to right: Ida Brashear, Rosaline Balistrieri, Judy Henke, Bob Ambler, Joe Uris, Carolyn lnouye, Linda Dawson, Proncel Foster, Geraldine Thomas, Nancy Seid.
