'E cr l ri ll DHEA IZATIU S Senatus Populusque Romanusf' - The ancient Romans taught the world a lot about selt-government, and the students ot San Diego l-ligh School, following these sages ot old, have found the great reward which comes trom student government. The innumerable and active elected student cabinets otter excellent proot ot this. History also tells us that the Romans assembled in individual groups to express their special interests, per- haps in such things as bowling, the theatre, or politics. This practice has endured the vast changes in civiliza- tion down to the students ot today, who assemble in sim- ilar groups. Any student at San Diego l-ligh School can participate actively in academic, aesthetic, political, religious, athletic, or military organizations. All ot these are represented here. ,it ffl i-11 tri i-it if-i i-rj fu 131 1:1 ini lei ug iii TA
