The events of today become the history of to- morrow. Already, the greater part of the activi- ties of the class of l946 have taken place and slipped quietly into the past. What it was to be, it has become, it will soon exist, no longer as an organized active class, but rather only in the memories of the individuals who once were its vital parts. It will live also buried in the files, in those places where past events linger on to be reconstructed and reorganized into a new life of history. So our class will very soon be an historical thing. We propose, therefore, to take liberties with time and to imagine two little Hilltoppers of some far distant future class, two little nosey researchers, who will look back- ward at our own class. Bobis day began when he descended the steps ot the early-morning street car la vehicle used in those days tor transportationl.
