.Quill and Small Although, from the title, one might gather that the aspiring scribes ot l94o still used quill pens and wrote on parchment, such was not the case. The members ot the group chose their club's appellation to suggest for them the past, much as it the youths ot today would name a literary organization after such out-ot-date machines as Typewriter and Tele- type. The members ot Ouill and Scroll were chosen tor outstanding ability in the tield of journalism. Dinner meetings were held every other week at the members' homes.
