The students who wrote and worlced on that consistently award-winning paper, did so because, despite their caustic comments concerning the worlc involved, they loved and toolc pride in each new craclcling issue. Deserving most credit were the two assiduous editors, Bob Duemling and Ruth Neumann, who wrote editorials, edited copy, and generally directed the destiny ot San Diego l-ligh's Fourth Estate. To pronounce mild but ettective justice on the minor ottenses reterred to it by the police department, a Student Court was presided over in the Fall by Student Judge John Holloway with Jane Hussey ,and Dave Sellgren as assistants and in the spring by Fred Peirce with Dave Sellgren and Joyce l-lensley.
