CSF —In dedicating itself to the war effort this semester, the California Scholarship Federation saved the profits of its sales to buy another war bond, did Red Cross work, arranged ,a program of services to help members join the Victory Corps, and also maintained its regular guide service for the school. The Ditch Day, held January 10, cli¬ maxed organization activities for the C.S.F.— Jim Seiler, President Quill and Scroll —Winding up another successful semester, Gray Castle ' s journalistic elite laid plans for the fourth edition of The Lit Parade, Hilltop ' s literary magazine. They also gave birth to a highly promising campaign to promote letter-writing among Hilltoppers. Supper meetings were held once a month at the homes of members.— Don Carter, President Officers ' Club —The Officers ' Club was organized to provide recreation for R.O.T.C. officers. This semester the energies of the club were devoted to the planning and presentation of the Military Ball, a traditional affair. —David Hume, President R. O. T. C.
