The student court, led by Judge Jack Holland, didn't aiect peagreens of '39 much. Junior A Ellis Page took over the judgeship in the spring of '41 from Philip Flint and kept the post the next fall. He groomed two probation officers, Fulton Camp and Bill Bade, however, for a bloody battle to decide who was to reign as tyrant for the senior A semester. Bill conducted such a quiet campaign that Fulton lived in fear of his oppon- ent's pulling something big on election day. When election results Were learned, Fulton was sitting on the judge's bench, doling out fines. In traditional style, sophs in the fall of '41 had a hard time finding a president until Tom Ables was finally appointed by the A.S.B. council. In the spring of '42 Ronald Jones was elected to the presidency. Junors had the same diiiculty until vice president Jerry Small moved into the president's seat.
