It is a faculty of various moods, and the students see them all: in classrooms, patient and serious, in club meetings, wise and helpful, in A W skits, scintillating and slap-happy. --4' June '42 graduates will remember principal John Aseltine, 3 - - N51 who became a doctor of education in June, 1941, for his fire- : X OCX I NC side manner in assembly, his friendly smile, and his ever- A ready helpful hand. The faculty skit to end them all came last spring when Wild Nell Bollo was hitched to Wild Bill Lyons while the other teachers looked on as Wild West stage props. Once though, when the faculty entertained, the students laughed and lost, 16-12. That was the teacher-senior A basketbrawl game last spring, dreamed up by history instructor Cleon Davies. Teachers led students in prepara- tion for War when all departments co- operated in the execution of a new emergency drill last spring, replacing the monthly fire drill.
