SOPHOMORES 41' 1 A Jean Carmichael They came from Roosevelt, Wilson, Horace Mann, Memorial to be A. S. B. president, Russ editor, R. O.T. C. colonel, and just plain Hiller. ' Green at the outset but ripening with age, the sophomores will be remembered for the 'Fact that at least they tried. As plans for peagreen assembly and Russ column dropped by the wayside, they decided that after all the school belongs to the seniors. Sparlrling .lean Carmichael divided her time between Russ staff and class presidency. Aiding her were Vice President Royal Parlrs, Secretary Lorraine Kestler, Treasurer Barbara Dye. , Wisecracking Lynn Weaver, sponsor, got them into the swing of things as sophomore names began to appear in The Rus as committee members, officers wisecraclcers in the Campus Candids.
