PAT DENNSTEDT SOL SCHULTZ Edilof Bu.i'if2e,i'i' Flflmzrzgef' Greig Olarailv Sviaff FACED with the task of editing a Gray Castle worthy of June class of '36, the annual staff plunged into its activities early in March guided by Patricia Dennstedt, annual editor, and Sol Schultz, business manager. Shouldering a tremendous responsibility, the stahf inaugurated several startling changes. In the senior section, individual write-ups were limited to stating but one activity. This was done in order to make the section uniform and also more democratic. The staff now feels that no student will have his high school memories marred by envying the popular student and his more impressive write-up. All pictures were placed the length of the page. Hitherto exceptionally large pictures have always been run the width of the page, making it necessary to turn the whole book in order to look at them. Thanks are due to Miss Margaret Verl Freyburger and Mr. Arthur Wicks who acted as literary and hnancial advisers respectively. The art work was skillfully supervised by Miss Harriet L. Southwick. Annual staff members were: Associate editor, Phyllis La Due, Senior, Marjorie Carr and Daniel Graham, Organizations, Mabel Grant and Margaret Moseley, Humor, Peggy Beverly and Margueritte Titus, Athletics, Lee Mon- roe, Glen Munkelt, and Leon Fish, Art, Betty Carringer, Typists, Katrina Frankson and Genevieve Peery.
