f' R' MRS. MILLIE ADAMSON M.S. Language Vocations We need an understanding and appreciation of our friends south of the border that we may be good neigh- bors. In our Spanish classes we study the language, litera- ture, history, and customs of the Spanish people in order to speak their words, under- stand their problems, and share in their happiness and in this way become more tol- erant and happy ourselves. MR. MARION J. DENMAN M.Ed. Commercial Courses offered in the commercial de- partment include a year of shorthand, two years of typing, and a year of book- keeping. It is planned to have a second year of shorthand next year and suffi- cient secretarial training to prepare for office work. New equipment will be added next year. About sixty students are enrolled in the several classes now b in tau ht. e Q Q ,fwy ww MRS. GERTRUDE M. AYALA B.A. Piano It is not sufficient to participate in music passively. The one who can re-create for himself the immortal melodies of the masters has, as Heifetz aptly put it, a medium for self-expression that will galvanize his personality as long as he lives. ,, it-,,fi.
