Freshman officers Dayona Lovemark, Lisa Castle, Diane Witt, April Dean say, Here's looking at you! This year's Freshman class led by Dayona Lovemark, president, Lisa Castle, vice president, April Dean, treas- urer, Diane Witt, secretary, and Toni Toumanian, historian, was active in many school activities. During Spirit Week the Freshmen sold victory buttons and won the penny drive. For their noisy support of Ice Cameron during the pie eating contest, the Freshman won the Spirit Stick; unfortunetlyloe finished second. The Fresh- men class was presented with a 50 dollar check by the P.T.S.A. for recruiting the most new members. High- lighting the Freshmen year was the Freshmen sponsored Harlem Clowns basketball game against the S.C. Faculty. A delighted crowd saw the Clowns beat the Facultyputting on a great show. In athletics, the Freshman football team finished a strong third and the Frosh basketball team won their last eights games after Black Tuesday to capture the league championship. The Freshmen were well represented on other teams as Bob Spiers played Sophmore football, Scott Severs played Sophmore basketball, and Keith Marr, jerry Nelson, and Steve Ripple played IV baseball.
