Miss Crippen . is ,xi , I Miss Gare-lick Mrs. Marcus 1 . ts it 1 iv X A 4 Miss Schuster Mrs. Shively Girls who go out for girls' sports are automatically members of the Girls Athletic Association, a nation-wide organization dedicated to the participation of high school girls in individual and team sports. GAA girls elect from their membership girls to serve on the executive com- mittee of their organization, which at San Carlos is called the Girls Sports Board. The duty of this hoard is to promote and coordinate all girls sports and the Awards banquet given each semester. This is the second year that San Carlos girls have been members of the GAA. Among the activities this year have been fencing, swimming, gymnastics, softball, tennis, badminton, bowling, and pompon. Page 211
