After looking both good and bad in their opening loss, the Dons bounced back for a good team effort in their league opener. Another loss preceded two straight victories. These two satisfy- ing wins put the Dons in the midst of the fight for the championship, but the heart-breaking loss to arch-rival Carlmont ended the San Carlos title hopes.
