Page 146 24 The San Carlos Inter-racial Club has one main goal: to heip the socially deprived San Carlos stu- dents overcome their deprivations. This is accomplished by exchanges with Rafvenswood High School, visits from outside speakers, and hours spent working with Negro youngsters. These activities give our students a chance to evaluate and reforrnulate their ideas and beliefs.
