Page 130 guhure KOCH!! The Cultural Commission's responsibility is to pro- vide a cultural education to accompany the classroom's academic education. This is accomplished through assem- blies featuring musical talent, guest speakers, and previews from the current school play or music festival. Examples of assemblies are the Williamette University Choir, the Knowledge Bowl-a quiz competition on American his- tory and government, and the school choral and instru- mental groups. In addition, the commission records and administers the school service awards. The two display cases are used to ex- hibit the words of art, homemalzing, crafts, ana' drafting classes, as well as publicizing plays and musical programs. The commission is in charge of the reading of the daily bulletin, and of the trophy case, which honors the achieve- ments of our athletic teams.
