In addition to this, the eoinnzission attempts to increase support for all of the clifferent sports at San Carlos by sponsoring publicity. The Girls' Sports Board consists of the thirteen sports managers, secretary, treasurer, publicity chairman, eight elected GAA representatives, and the Girls Athletic Com- missioner. It is the duty of this committee to make all decisions concerning the Girls' Afterschool Sports Pro- gram and Awards Banquet. The Sports Board also spon- sored the first Girls' Sports Achievements Banquet. The evening was very successful and laid a foundation for many future hanquets. The Board has worked extremely hard this year to make the sports program interesting, rewarding, and an experience which fosters lasting friend- ships. i Christy Robinson Page 129
