Third Row: Gordon Wicher, Al Palomar, Sandy Logan, Dan Miller, Bill Sloss. Editing the 1964 EL DON was a great responsibility and lasting experience, for it involved many trials and disappoint- ments, occasional long and late hours, a seemingly overwhelm- ing number of problems and decisions, and staff panics. However, the tremendous sense of pride and accomplish- ment felt when these experiences culminate at the end of the year in the published book is rnore than adequate compensation. I would like to thank all those who were kind enough to bear with me throughout the year - the staff, Mr. Harris, Lynn, ,Nw Tony - and the multitude of students, faculty members, and administrators without whose assistance and understanding the production of your '64 EL DON would have been infinitely more difficult. mv' ir:- EDITOR-IN-CHIEF Sue Wing Z 9 lO4
