CULTURE BDARD The Culture Commission coordinates all cultural proi- ects, especially assemblies. Some of the cultural events of this year have been: All-Girls Get Acquainted Assembly, ,N Y Presidio in San Francisco, American Field Service Assembly, Music Assembly vvith the A Cappella Choir from the Col- lege of Notre Dame, Law Day, U.S.A., featuring members V of the San Mateo County Bar Association discussing Ob- serve The Law , Dance Band from College of San Mateo, Cohn Hall and the Jazz Representatives, and other assem- blies featuring foreign students and cultural groups from other schools. The commission also records and administers the service and awards system. Z, 'X X Selling student body cards, selling tickets for sports events, and distributing student body pictures are the main activities of the Finance Commission. The members also sell tickets at concerts and plays the school puts on during the year. Working with Mr. Lipscomb, the club's adviser, and Mrs. Bartlett, the school treasurer, the commission also makes up the school budget.
