FINANCE BOARD Members of the Finance Board were chosen because of their interest in the iob, and mainly because of their ability to handle money. They handled the school's important finan- -' cial transactions - selling Student Body Cards, school pictures, and tickets to games and other affairs such as the Christmas Concert. Another significant task of the Finance Board is help- ing to plan the school budget. This was accomplished by Commissioner Shirley Murray and her board through close work with their advisor, Miss Conlan, and the school treas- urer, Miss Bartlett. , 777 I f fi0L'Cc'c ' ' Cfddfxffc' C gl I M ll FINANCE BOARD First row: Bunny Russell, Penny Fault, Diane Ryan, Corliss Fisher, Shirley Murray, Sandee Courland, Sondra Yaeger, Jan Rose. WELFARE BOARD The members ofthe Board ot Welfare have one ot the most unrewarding iobs in the school. These are the students who issue the citations to students who violate student body laws. Members of this board must have the respect of the student body so that their task can be performed correctly. The major problem the board deals with is the litter situation, but smok- ing and other actions detrimental to the welfare of the school i also come under its iurisdiction. f WELFARE BOARD First row: Joel Fritsche, Pam Taylor, Laura Brown, Sally Kolthoff, Diane Kilburg, Sandee Courland, Jeanne Zimmerman, Don Richard- son. INKLINGS A Publications Commission of twenty-five students stafted this year's school literary magazine, Inklings. Under the ad- visorship of Miss Fratessa and Mr. Harris, Commissioner Julie Frisch directed the production of the sixty-four page publica- tion. Starting to call for student entries of original poems, short stories, essays, and art work in December, the 1962-63 Ink- Iings appeared considerably earlier in the school year than last year's issue. Heading the editorial staff were Co-editors Tory Regan and Kathy Giannotti and Assistant editor Pat Wipfler. in zACLllL WS x INKLINGS First row: Tory Regan, Julie Frisch, Kathy Giannotti, Pat Wipfler.
