The seven can- didates were: Kathy Avila,julie Emery,joan- na johnson, Andrea Lee, Kathy Murdoch, Caryn Schobert and Sharon Stout. Kathy Murdoch and julie Emeryvvere nam- ed first and second runner up, respectively. Kathy Avila was crowned 1981182 Homecoming Queen at the halftime ceremonies. In spite of a strong wind and some very ternperamental stadium lights, the queen and her court were a big hit.

Every class participated in building floats. The juniors won first place and the sophomores won second. After the game there was a dance with a live band. Everyone enjoyed the evening.
