Dubbing In The Sound The days of silent movies have indeed pass- ed on our set. This season our band, better known as THE BIG RED MACHINE, livened up sports events, pep rallies, and parades, but there were also set-backs. The band director hired at the beginning of the year left after only two weeks, followed by a temporary replacement, Mrs, Susan Miller, who stayed until yet another substitute, Mrs. Karen Cook, came. Finally, Mr. Russell Schissler arrived, and the pro- blem was settled. When asked to comment on the situation, student director, Tom Flores said, Con- sidering all the confusion we had this year, I think the band did a pretty good job.
