FOREWORD Within the '57 Yearbook are the recorded, high- fidelity albums of student life at San Bernardino l-ligh, and with l-li-Fi comes the theme for the l957 Tyro Annual. ln music, high-fidelity is said to be capable of producing tones with a minimum of sound distortion. And so, with the objective of bringing you a clear, vivid picture of Cardinal City, it has been the sincere effort Your Record of thi of the Tyro Annual staff to record student life with true high-fidelity. Fidelity came from the Latin word fidelitas, mean- ing faith. And indeed, the Citizens of Card City have exhibited faith. They have shown faith in their school by endeavoring to uphold the traditions of S. B. H. S. and improve their school. They have shown faith in themselves and in their fellow students.
