Be sure to give the copy to Mr. Reqalado for corrections! . . . These were a few of the familiar phrases heard around the Tyro room before the book was put to bed. Behind these Words were the men with the Whips, Mr. lohn Reqalado, faculty advisor, and Dick Morley, editor. Up until April l5 these two men have cracked their Whips over the staff mem- bers, who have lost many tempers and hours of sleep in order to present you with your 1954 Tyro Annual.

Starting in 1879 at the old high school, which is now Sturges Iunior High, the yearbook came to our present schoo1 in 1916, when S. B. 1-1. S. was opened. The contents of the sixty-tive books would make a fasci- nating history ot our school from the g1amour of the O1d West, a11 the way up to today's present age.
