Costumes, tricks, and treats were the main attractions throughout the entire school at the first Annual Hal- loween Costume Contest, put on by the yearbook staff. The contest was a big success, thanks to the participa- tion of most of the student body. For the judges it was extremely dif- ficult to choose only one first, sec- ond, ond third place, but after long and hard thinking, Ms. Clark, Mr. Van Gerpen, and Mr. Lavorato finally decided who the Biggest, Brightest, and Best costumes belonged to. As stated by Sophomore Lana Shelton. lt was a great way for people to ex- press their imaginations, and as it turned out, some people had some pretty wild thoughts! Biggest lthird placel went to senior Heather Parker with her great imita- tion of a shower clearly stating Men Only on the back. Brightest fsecond placel went to senior Lynne Brock- bank with her costume of a lime- green bird. Best lfirst placel went to l'The Fruit of the Loom Girl, senior Shannon Hansen and her Grapevine costume. Halloween Get-ups I 2 Halloween Student Life
