X' HULLISTQ i 1 The Junior Varsity team started the 1974 - 75 basketball season by losing eight out of nine games in the non-league games. But because of Coach Shel1tto's drive o because of Coach Shelitto's drive of his players to come back, the LV. 's managed to win five games and lose seven in league games. With an overall record of six to fifteen the I.V. 's had their best game against the Pacific Grove Breakers, where they won 55 to 52. After losing to them a few weeks prior their victory. The Hayseeds carried a squad of 15 players lnving 12 of them being sophomores and 3 juniors, returning letter- men. The teams hard work and determination in their practices enable the team to gradually get better as the season went by. The Junior Varsity team had an overall record of 3 wins, 6 losses, and 2 ties. The dedication and organization of the team led them to a mediocre 74-75 season. The Junior Varsity players in league play compiled a lwin, 2 loss, and 6 ties record. It was not unusual to see the girls out their playing on the field. The LV.
