Problems surrounded them this year as never before. Innovative curriculum changes frequently caused consternation, demands of various factions of the community confronted them, but an override tax issue strongly supported by the community gave the board a vote of confidence. With the money available, plans for improving the curriculum offering next year is assured. The newly appointed superintendent will be able to effectively implement a program that will benefit all the students. 18 MI. Looking back at the time I have spent at Hollister High, I can only say I have had a wonderful time. I really enj oyed my stay here, from the first day to the last. This is mostly due to the great students here. It was a change for me coming from a city into a community like Hollister, but the students being so friendly and nice, made it so easy for me. I made a lot of fxiends over here which I will surely miss when I return to Germany. The Balem repeatedly pushed in- side the Spartan 10 yard line only to have pen- alties step their drives.
