OUTSTANDING JUNIORS Row I—Margaret Sargent, president; Mamie Meneses. treasurer; Lorena Goodwin, Junior Editor of Vo-Tech; Dolores Boldt, secretary; and Frances Marrs. Row II—Bobby Rudewick, Uriel Gonzales, Dee Casler, E. W. Price, Alex Habeeb, and Mr. Groos, Sponsor. JUNIOR CLASS ACTIVITIES The Junior Class, the Class of '43, was organized as the Sophmore Class early in 1941. The following were elected officers: President, Frances Marrs; Vice-presi-dent, Joyce Bankston: Secretary, Diana Reid; Treasurer, Mamie Meneses; Parliamentarian, Alice Biemer. The Sophomores enjoyed a picnic at Woodlawn Lake in May, 1941. In October, 1941, this group of students, now Juniors, elected the following officers: President, Margaret Sargent; Vice-president, Carl Hoffner, who later had to resign because of employment; Secretary, Dolores Boldt; Treasurer. Mamie Meneses; Parliamentarian, Alex Habeeb. In December, 1941, the Junior Class entertained with the annual Christmas Dance in the Library of Tech School. This year it was called the Mistletoe Prom; the high spot of the evening was the very excellent floor show. This dance helped to put everybody in the Christmas spirit. The Junior Class, the Class of '43, upon graduation hopes to take its place and do its part in the defense of America. Page 2S
