ARTICLE ONE—We do hereby will the forthcoming Senior Classes the presentation of all the weary headaches and heartbreaking moments endured by us, the 1942 Senior Class, with the publication of our first Annual in five years—each and every worry has been placed in safe keeping and is so requested to be realised at the first mention of an Annual hereafter. ARTICLE TWO—We have agreed by proclamation, and for the benefit of future citizens of Tech, to provide for every honorable member of the faculty a course in calligraphy, thus doing away with the letters “d and f , thereby assuring the students of a much happier home life when report cards are distributed and for' warded to parents. ARTICLE THREE—To our principal, Mr. L. W. Fox; Vice-Principal, Mr. George L. Fling; Dean of Girls, Mrs. Juanita DcPue; and Dean of Boys, Mr. Samuel H. Lane, we leave our younger brothers and sisters, knowing they, too, will go through the same ordeal as did we ourselves—making use of Ye Ole Mourning Bench situated in the secrecy of the Main Office—adding with it the equally long discussions with our beloved Mamas and Papas. ARTICLE FOUR—The following Seniors wish to leave their most beloved posessions to the persons who in their minds are worthy of such: ★ ★ ★ ★ Betty Jo Andrews wishes to leave a half empty bottle of H202 (Peroxide) to Mary----------------? ★ Leonard Tallas leaves Dorothy Jane-, his green Plymouth, to Robert Lord. ★ Ethel Howard leaves a curl, a slightly worn red ribbon, and a quick smile to Louise Pate. ★ Leonard Hippchen wills his ability to fall gracefully on skates, or on the dance floor, to Alex (Jitterbug) Habeeb. it Maribeth Plattner and Marjorie Dennis will their crew cut to Melba Jean Thomas, it Luther Chapa leaves his hobby, dancing, to George Rodgers. ★ Fauntcll Cook wills her ability to create last minute drills to the future president of the Red Jackets, it Marie Heler Sargent wills her efficiency to her younger sister, Margaret, it John Lovell leaves his hard-boiled nature to meek and innocent Donald Roberts, it Frances Harle and Virginia Rogers, sadly bidding the Print Shop adieu, leave all the joys of printing to the future classes, it Donald Smith leaves his swell personality and leadership to E. W. Price. ★ Anna Mae Lamanski wishes to leave her quiet ways and good dancing to Mary Ann Anderson, it Johnny Gavlick wills his tooth paste ad smile to Melba Jean Thomas, it Dorothy Buckclcw leaves her scatter-brain-ness to Margaret Driffil. ★ Leroy Cobb, giving a deep sigh of relief and sorrow combined, leaves his paper strewn desk and bottle of Aspirins to the future commanding officer of the ROTC. ★ Mary Gissi wills her pleasing personality and blue eyes to Huldah Driemeyer. it Ralph Lewis leaves all his girl friends at Earl Abie’s to Jack Baldauf. ★ Gloria Buitron wills her devotion to books to William Gissi. ★ George Wissman, Garland Thrcadgill and Henry Moy leave little brothers to the ROTC to train and discipline; they’re tired of this job themselves, it Nell Kohlenberg wills her dancing ability to Billy Cartwright it Joyce Sanderson leaves a worn out pencil and a cure for writer’s cramp to the future Secretary of the Senior Class, it John Holterman places all the loves of his life in the care of Kenneth Hogue, it Geraldine Baldy and Esther Mae Manning leave Lois Moore to carry on and take care of everything, it William Cuesta and Edmund Cantu are leaving Fernando Colo-oy to Mrs. Free to use as she sees fit. ★ Mildred Black, after many hours of pondering, has decided to leave her worn out Cosmetology uniform to Betty Ncyrey. ★ Henry Huntress, considering the fact that he will soon leave to fly for Uncle Sam has decided to will his little book of addresses and phone numbers to the boys in the Gossett advisory. ★ Ruth Knight and Audry La Nier leave their persuasive abilities to the next group of students who bring up the subject of an Annual.
