Finishing second in Zone play, their best record in a number of years, SAC basketball players compiled aconference record of eightwins and two losses. Their total season record was 15 wins and 12 losses, giving them a respectable performance score sheet any way you want to add it up. High point men for the season were Byron McClenney with 356 points, jim Arnold with 287, and Ronald Lopez with 279. Three SAAC cagers earned their second year letters by their outstanding performances during the season. They were Ken Cox, Roland Lopez, and Byron McClenney.
