FEBRUARY, 1956 3 Pi Gamma Phi presents the Leap Year Dance in the Ballroom. 6 The exhibit held during the Grand Opera Festi- val is in the Ballroom. 10 High School Student Council members visit SAC for the annual Splash Day. 11 Adda Dabba Pouda Sweetheart Dance is held in the Ballroom. 13 Beta Phi Gamma initiates 13. 17 Cecile Abdo is named First Lady of San An- tonio College at the annual Beta Phi Gamma dance. 18 Mrs. W. P. Moody entertains faculty. 21 Phi Theta Kappa initiates new members. 24 Students get a holiday, and faculty members attend the Texas Junior College Teachers As- sociation meeting in Austin. 27 Baptist Student Union has a party at the Northwest YMCA. MARCH, 1956 1 Annual deadline arrives at last. 7-9 Speechcrafters produce one-act plays. 7 Phi Theta Kappa sells cakes in the Evening Division. 26 Religious Emphasis Week begins at SAC. 30 School dismisses for Good Friday. APRIL, 1956 2 Classes resume. 6-7 Homecoming festivities are held at SAC. 7 Future Teachers Association holds party in Lot- tin Student Center. 13 District tennis meet is held at SAC. 16 Fiesta Week begins in San Antonio. 27 Baptist Student Union has spring banquet. 28 Newman Club holds a dance. MAY, 1956 10 The annual Water Show is held. 12 Adda Dabba Poudas dance in Ballroom. 18 Spring Finals begin. 20 Baccalaureate Services begin graduation ex- ercises. 25 Commencement exercises and graduation dance end SAC year.
