joel Crawford Joel came to SACS his sophomore year, winning the second place in fencing and earning the rank of cap- tain in R. 0. T. C. that same year. Joel played in the band and with the varsity basketball team his sophomore and junior years. He was voted the friendliest boy his junior year and in his senior year, he partic- ipated in the racquetball club. Joel scored 1303 on the SAT, resulting in being offered scholar- ships by M. I. T., North Texas State U., and Oklahoma Christian College. .loel plans to attend U. T. S. A. this fall and possibly Texas Tech the following year. He became a lst lieutenant in R. O. T. C. and also received three ribbons for sharp shooting. He was also in fencing for 2 112 years and won a school-wide championship in this. Frank was the basketball manager in his freshr and sophomore years, and worked on the OVERCOMER as photographer all four years. In senior year Frank took over as b ness manager for the OVE RCOM and as treasurer for the class 1977.

He has been one of the photographers for the last three years. At the beginning of his sophomore year he joined the basketball team, and at the end of the season he received the most-im- proved player awardg he continued as a member of the team through his senior year. In the Super Star ct petition he placed first in shot- and weight-lifting. As a senior, Lynn served as tr urer of the racquetball club and ceived an achievement award being on the A 81 B Honor Roll. the final event of the year Lynn g the salutatory address.
