Christmas Gala Relives Era Of Tin Timi' A Dickens Christmas was the theme for the annual progressive dinner held for the upper school faculty and high school students and their dates. Old fashioned decorations were in evidence during the seated main course, and time was taken to decorate a tree with pop- corn and cranberry chains and old time ornaments. The menu offered old English items from the famous Crachit turkey to plum pudding. The evening was climaxed hy a reading from Dickens' A Christmas Carolu and a candlelight service in which the light from each person's candle was passed to another representing the shared light of the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 30 WINTER Above: fl to rl Noel Skinner, Martha Wliitsclt, Jell' Coe, and Diana Welch start offthe ever with salads and appetizers. l,cl't: Cathy Lawson and ,loclCr1lwlord at the main course.
