This is my sincere expression for all that each of you have contributedg you have done much, but more importantly, you have meant more. The school has been enlarged and another measure of tradition added by your mature character this year. This was a year of transition - never an easily accomplished task. Through it you remained firm, courteous, and openg thank you. But it took more than these to effect the ideas generated - and you gave out of your- selves, a refreshing experience for all those with whom you came in contact. Here you have come to believe that there are boundaries, absolutes, a Unnture of things,u which aiford man his freedom, his meaning. But you know, too, that true freedom is commitment to our Lord through His Son. You will always be confronted with choices, perplexities, and competing prior- ities. Jesus Himself clarified a basic issue: nwithout me you can do nothing.H May God our Father, the source of our new life in His Son, be your source of strength and character. The i'Lion ofthe Tribe of,Iudah wearing his kingly crown, symbolically represents the Lord Jesus Christ at His second coming. The first time He came to earth it was humbly, as the sacrificial Lamb slain before the foundation ofthe world, the sin-bearerg when He comes again it will be triumphantly as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, to crush forever beneath His feet that old ser- pent, the devil. At this time EVERY knee shall bow and EVERY tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. ln the spirit of 0 NIKON, The Over- comer, our school seeks to build into the life of each student the motto of Head- master John Maurer: 'Lcharacter and truth. We strive for the mark of high calling ot'Christ jesus, prayingt each ol' our students will stand prepar to confess Jesus as their personal Lu and Saviour.
