Xe Pk PF 94 94 Uur Kitchen Staff Our kitchen staff needs no introduction. Every boy here is familiar with their fine meals which are welcome breaks in our day. The cooks, the best in the South, are Dorothy and Ora Lee. Backing them up in the centerfield known as the dining room are llula, Fairy C., Myrtle, and Mable. Dorothy is the head cook and Ora Lee, probably best known to the boarders, is the night or evening meal cook. Besides gladly bringing seconds, they are the first to say no harm done when something falls or is spilled on the table. We, the senior class, have greatly appreciated them and hopefully look to the schools we will attend to sec if their meals can at least come close to those we have had here. Our Maintenance Man Clell is a man of many talents and many names but out of all of these there arises the really capable person that he is. It would be hard for us to do anything if it were not for Clell and his seemingly endless supply of patience and good humor. He only gripes when he reaches the end of his rope and he has the longest rope on the campus. We appreciate his help more than he can know! I XGII ll! ss E s Q

X-X-be -X94-K The Members of the Faculty V' The faculty which is capably headed by Mr. Giambruno, the Headmaster, has as its prime function the instruction and discipline of the students but second to this would be the discussion as a group the ways and means of improving efforts of individual students. Toward this end the faculty meets as a group every two weeks for the considera- tion of the rise and fall of grades, classroom techniques, and what might generally be termed Hproblemsw. Meetings are held for consideration of promotion lists and the possible effects of these promotions toward improvement of certain areas of student life. Though the faculty is essentially a group working together each individual teacher accepts it as his responsibility to offer suggestions to the boys within the framework of his own course and hence is essentially his guide and counsellor. Many students may not think it is true because student and teacher are not always on the best of terms, but the faculty deserves a hearty thank-you for jobs well done. PAGE 19
