Pi- Pi- X' 94 94 94 Our Dietitian About five years ago Mrs. A. D. Mangham became a member of the Academy family. Before coming to us she was already well versed in the facts of cafe and cafeteria management. For many years she operated the Manor Tea Room, an outstanding San Antonio Restaurant. All of the students love her because of her marvelous personality as well as her wonderful meals. She has such a willing spirit and is always eager to help those who pass under her influence. One of her greatest pleasures is fixing refreshments for the dances and we are of course those who most benefit from this pleasure. Mrs. Mangham, we the cadets of S. A. A. are proud to have you as our dietitian and want you to know we truly return the love you have for us. PAGE 15

XXX 749494 Our Office Ladies The photograph is obviously posed but don't let that color your thinking. As a casual obseryer it would appear that little is going on and you might conclude that little does go on in a school office., Nothing could be further from the truth. t, Our office staff is probably one of the most reliable and efficient in the country. They have been more than faithful in carrying out the many and varied tasks assigned them by parents, teachers, and students. Misses Edith and Rosamoncl Biles, sisters, have been our helpful companions through many long and often thankless hours. Part of their work has been the filling out and sending of the report cards that parents want to see and most cadets don't. But in spite of this treason which is really a mild form anyway. the annual staff would like to say a humble uthank you for your outstanding job. PAGE 14

we we we X X 44 Our Nurse sw .WL fins-w,.,,.i . , . W., , 'tw Mrs. Mamie Dozier, our nurse, has finally come back after a yearis absence. We gratefully acknowledge this return and welcome you back. The boarders know Mrs. Dozier well as both housemother and nurse and know how willingly she makes herself available for all of the little hurts and major repairs, too. Almost every time she turns around there is some boarder at her elbow to ask her to sew on buttons or stripes. At other times someone is sick and is headed for treatment. Mrs. Dozier's help is not only readily available to the boarder but to the day student as well. We are truly grateful for you and your help to us, Mrs. Dozier. PAGE 16
