'-.,'j:.:-:1.,5' Sandra Patterson, editor john Treadwell, business manager Ed B. Cole and Hugh King, sponsors In presenting the 1959 VVesterner, the staff has at- tempted to compile a book which truly reflects San Angelo Central High School, its new campus, plant, and curriculum. VVe early realized that our ambitions were limited by such things as budgets and space requirements. Ac- cordingly, we have been forced to delete some things usually found in high school yearbooks. VVe hope that you concur with our evaluation. To the administration and school board who con- ceived Central High School, the architects who designed it, the contractors who built it, the teachers who have staffed it, and above all, the San Angelo taxpayer who approved the bond issue which financed it, We dedicate the 1959 XVesterner. In so doing we realize that it is only a gesture of appreciation for providing us with the school of tomorrow-today. To those whose assistance made the 1959 Wfestemer possible-Vlallace Studios, The San Angelo Standard- Times, Eddie Kirkham, photographer, Mr. Bill Taylor and his art department, and our publisher, Newsfoto Publishing Co.-our thanks. Your patience and kindness have contributed no end in making this book a reality.
