So in casting about for someone, or some- thing, to catch the spirit of the 1949 Westerner, what could be more natural than a glance in the direction of lovely, Texas-born Ann Sheridan? With the best of wishes to San Angelo High School, its faculty and students. Miss Sheridan, through her studio, Warner Bros., forwarded the picture on the opposite page especially for publication in the 1949 Westerner.
