To THE dguff It isn't often that a high school student-even a senior-gets the last word with faculty members. ,W But this page in the Westerner gives the Class of 1946 ct golden oppor- tunity to get in a parting shot without the chance of a rebuttal.. We want to say, Thanks! Thanks for your untiring and unceasing efforts in our behalf. Thanks for your friendly guidance. Thanks for a leader- ship that knows when to assert itself, and, equally important, when not to. Thanks for the hours of your lives you have so generously given us that We may be better equipped to meet the sterner tests that lie ahead. Thanks for 'sticking with us during the war years when so many less devoted to the teaching profession deserted for greener pastures. Thanks for making our senior year the best, and, in all ways, the most successful of all. And finally, thanks for implanting in us ideals that will survive any test reality can offer. We don't like' to say Goodbye, So let's just close with the familiar, Class dismissed! The Class Of '46
