No plaudits are theirs for a task that is often thankless, but they get the job done.

To San Angelo High School Students: Our first postwar year at San Angelo High School has been one of readjustments, witnessing almost as much change as did the war years. Many students who would have gone to industry or to the armed forces, had the War continued, are back in school. The changes in the faculty, which were numerous. resulted from the general readjustment from war to peace. The esprit de corps of the student body remained at a high level. All activities reflected the fine faculty and student leadership and cooperation which has come to characterize our school. We expect the underclassmen to carry-on in the fine tradition of the past and strive to improve our school in the changing times just ahead. X To the Seniors we suggest that you continue in school during the next four years if possible. You will avoid much of the unsettled conditions of the present and prepare your- selves better for the good life we hope will be yours.
