I can sincerely say that the loyalty of our student body this year has been outstanding. You have also shown an excellent school spirit. You have gained for the school fine honors in athletics, in literary work, in music, and in vocaf tional agriculture. Let me ask that you carry this same spirit throughout life. Bear your share of the burden and stand always for what is right. I wish to thank the Staff, especially, for the untiring work in getting out this splendid issue of The Westerner. By this means, I extend to the 1929 student body every good wish. You have developed a commendable spirit of loyalty. I trust that the time spent with your studies and student activities at the San Angelo High School will return a full measure of fruitfulness.
