DRAMATIC CLUB ln the Uramatie Cluh girls in the .lunior and Senior lligh learn the techniques of good acting and stage production, appreciation ol' drama. and creative expression. This vcar the cluh's activities hegan with sltits given at the meetings by various groups within the cluh. A guest spealier, Mrs. Cushing, visited a meeting and gave a reading ol' Pi gmalionf' The lirst project of the Dramatic Cluh for the year was the staging of the traditional lioundefs Day pantomime on November 1. This program, put on in cooperation with the Glee Club, folf lowed the historv of the school from the time of its founding to the present. Ar Thanksgiving the -lunior Iligh gave the onefact plav Ullis Majesty Sleeps. The spring was spent rehearsing the annual Senior lligh spring plav, which this vear was Sir Oliver Cloldsmiths She Stoops to Cone KILICIIU Vlihe performance was on Nav -l. Ollieers ol' the Dramatic Cluh this vear were: president, E. Geist: vice-president. B. lleansg and secretary. l.. Stuart. Miss Ehaugh was the director. COTILLION CL U13 The Cotillion Club is responsihle for details ol' the Ready dances, from record-hop to semi' formal. Under the guidance of Mr. Hictor, liae- ultv advisor, and Pleasants Peirce, president, Putnam, T. Keech, D. Kelliher, Nlever, S. Rushton, E. Sehwartzmann, S. liurticlt and ,'X. Cladu, manv enjovahle evenings were spent hy the senior high girls. Their plans included a record-hop, the midevear dance and the greatly anticipated Senior Prom.

.HOCKEY'CLUB Under the guidance of Miss Clement, faculty advisor, and Carole Townsend as president, the extramural activities of the Hockey Club were greatly expanded. Fergu- son, E. Kupina, L. Riebling, King, C. Town- send, E. Geist, P. Peirce, E. Payne, C. L. Sykes, T. Keech, L. Stuart, K. Ehlen, ll. Suhers, D. Taylor, S. Faust, Meyer, T. VVeaver, K. Iack- son, C. Hurd, lW. Stefansson, A. Taber, T. Dun- nigan, D. jones, P. Fryberger, F. Heaps, ll. Kirk, S. Kupina, Schilling and N. Stair. CHEERLEADERS The cheerleading squad this year was composed of five girls from the Junior and Senior High, chosen by try-outs on the basis of enthusiasm and talent. The group practiced twice a week during the fall to perfect their cheers, in order to boost team spirit at intermural games at the school and away. The cheerleaders also helped both Sigmas and Rhos build enthusiasm at the pep rally before Field Day. The cheerleaders this year were: C. L. Sykes, captain, S. Miller, co-captain, K. jackson, D. Wal- lett, and C. Knapp.
