She follows a family tradition, as three aunts preceded her here. She distinguished herself by her piano and organ playing in Chapel. Another talent, her drawing ability, brought her the position of art editor of the TORCH. An active member of the Social Service Committee for several years, she served as president in 1956-57. Her other activities at school included tennis, dramatics, and hockey. After gradu- ation she plans to enter the Held of foreign service. Her dramatic ability was evidenced in her successful portrayal of major roles in the surin lays. Durin her 'unior and senior years she was resident of the Drama l S P , 8 J , P Club. She was a valuable hockev laver, and the ca tain of the Si ma team her I v P , P 3 unior year. Ernie also devoted her ener ies to the TORCH, of which she was the J , 8 editor her senior year.
