Personnel Man Specialist: PS's provide enlisted personnel with information. They inform sailors about naval careers opportunities, general education, training, job promotion requirements, rights and benefits. In situations of hardship, they assist enlisted families with legal aid or reassignments. PS's keep records up-to-date, prepare reports, type letters, and maintain files. PS's also maintain the financial records of navy personnel. They prepare payrolls, determine transportation entitlements, compute travel allowances, and process claims for the reimbursement of travel expenses. Personnel Man Specialists also process vouchers for the receivingfspending of public money. They make sure the account data is accurate while maintaining the fiscal records. PS's prepare financial reports and returns. i PSIQSWXAWJ .JEREMY PESNELL Master-at-Amis: MA's help keep law and order on board the ship. To help maintain discipline, they report to the Executive Office, and assist security matters. They enforce regulations, conduct investigations, take part in correctional and rehabilitative programs.
